Scout the 268 before you study a thing.
The exam is not a mystery. It is a machine with a shape and a scoreboard. Tap a domain to see where the points actually live, and where we aim your hours first.
Leading Learning is 42% of the exam.
The biggest lever and the heaviest writing. We build this one deepest.
I have watched great leaders fail a test that never measured whether they could lead.
For twenty years I have coached educators through exams like this one. Here is what I learned. The people who fail the 268 are almost never the ones who cannot do the job. They are the ones nobody ever taught to take the test.
You already know how to lead a building. What you have never been handed is a way to translate that into the exact language the 268 speaks, under a clock, against a rubric most candidates never even see.
So I built it. The strategy, the practice, and a coach in your corner. That is Principal Ready.

Three weapons. Every question, covered.
Most prep buries you in content. We hand you three repeatable moves you can run without panic. You learn them in Module 0, then aim them at all six domains.
Read the answer choices like evidence
The choices leak where the test is pointing. CLUE trains your eye to see it, so even a hard item narrows fast.
Decide "what would you do" in seconds
Most of the 268 is judgment. TRIAGE filters any scenario to the one defensible move, red flags first.
Pace the full five hours without nerves
The number one reason capable people fail is anxiety. Bob & Weave is how you stay steady, bank wins, and never let one question sink the test.
Three coaches. One plan to pass.
Dr. A coaches your strategy. Christie, a Principal of the Year and former district Leadership & Development Senior Manager, teaches the content. And your own AI Test Prep Coach, tied to your exam blueprint, drills you between lessons. It knows your weak domains, writes practice to your blueprint, and breaks any item down with CLUE or TRIAGE. A practice partner, not a shortcut.
Rated the way Texas rates a campus.
No vague progress bar. A real readiness rating that climbs as you master each domain, and tells you exactly where to lead next.
It even projects your rating onto the real 100 to 300 scale, so you can see whether you are on track to clear the 240 pass line before game day. See your Road to 240 ↓One domain from Ready.
Your rating grows from a diagnostic baseline as you master domains, pass quizzes, and improve. Lift your biggest domain and the whole number jumps.
Know your number before game day.
The 268 is scored 100 to 300, and 240 passes. Principal Ready turns your readiness into a projected scaled score on that exact scale, so you always know how close you are to the line, and what moves it.
The Road to 240
Building226
projected scaled score
likely range 216–237
At 80% readiness the projection reaches the 240 pass line. Every domain you master pushes the number higher.
A practice-based projection, not a score guarantee. The TExES 268 reports a 100–300 scaled score; 240 is the Texas passing standard.
Built by an educator who has coached 70,000 of them.
One obsession runs through all of it: making sure good educators stop failing exams that test what they already know.

Fix the bottleneck in your principal pipeline.
Your next principal is already on your campus. License seats and give every candidate the strategy, the coach, and the accountability to pass, while you track it all in real time.
Pass your exam. Or get your money back.
Earn your certificate, then submit a failing score report and we refund you. The certificate is the bar: watch 90 percent of every lesson, score 85 percent on each of the six domain tests, and score 90 percent on the full mock exam. Same for monthly and annual.
85% is Principal Ready's bar, not the state's.
Texas today. The country next.
Principal Ready is a multi-exam platform. The TExES 268 is our launch boot camp, with more state leadership exams on the way. The system travels: diagnostic, domain mastery, mock, pass.
Empty hallways are the cost of a broken pipeline.
When good assistant principals fail certification exams, the building goes to whoever passed the test, not always the person who would have led it best.
We built Principal Ready to fix that. One platform. One pass rate that climbs. One generation of leaders who walk into the building they were meant to lead.
Confidence is built, not born.
Answered straight.
If you are an assistant principal or dean, you likely know more than you think. The boot camp focuses on translating what you know into the way the 268 asks it, plus the strategy to move fast and decide well.
Most candidates work it over a few weeks. Lessons are 5 to 7 minutes, and you can prep at 9pm after a full day. The diagnostic points you at what matters so you do not waste hours.
Earn your completion certificate, then take the exam. The certificate takes three things: watch 90% of every lesson video, score 85% on each of the six domain tests, and score 90% on the full mock exam. Do that, and if you still submit a failing score report, we refund you. Same for monthly and annual. (85% is our bar, not the state's.)
No. It is a practice partner tied to your blueprint. It will not take the test for you. It drills you, writes practice questions, and breaks items down with the same strategies you learn in the course.
The TExES 268 is our launch boot camp. More state leadership exams are on the way, and the system is the same wherever you certify.
Ready when you are.
